Every Wednesday from 5 PM to 7 PM, you can find me at the Dixon Farmers Market with my handcrafted candles from Vanilla Bean Dreamz Candle Co. While I love sharing my candles with customers, the market is about so much more than selling products. It’s about community, connections, and supporting the people behind the businesses.

When I started making candles, I never imagined how much joy it would bring me. What began as a creative hobby grew into something much bigger. Today, every candle I make starts as an idea in my head and is handcrafted right here in Woodland, California. From my realistic dessert candles to my seasonal collections, every detail is created with care, creativity, and love.

One of my favorite things about the Dixon Farmers Market is meeting the people who stop by my booth. I love hearing their stories, seeing their reactions when they realize my dessert candles are actually candles, and getting to know the wonderful people in our community. Those moments remind me why I started this journey in the first place.

Supporting small businesses means supporting real people, local families, and dreams. When you shop from a local artist or maker, you’re helping someone continue doing what they love. You’re helping keep money in the local economy, supporting community events, and encouraging creativity and entrepreneurship.

As a small business owner, I know firsthand how much every purchase, share, recommendation, and kind word means. It may seem small, but those gestures make a huge difference and help businesses like mine continue to grow.
