When people see my candles for the first time, they usually ask, “Is that really a candle?” And honestly, that’s one of my favorite compliments.

Every candle I make starts as an idea in my head. Sometimes it’s inspired by a favorite dessert, a holiday memory, a scent that brings me back to childhood, or even something I see while shopping. From there, I start creating every little detail by hand.

Crafting the Details by Hand

My watermelon candles are a perfect example. From the tiny watermelon chunks and realistic black seeds to the whipped wax topping and little decorative details, every piece is handcrafted. My peach candles have miniature peaches, whipped wax, and carefully chosen scents that bring the whole design to life. No two candles are ever exactly the same because each one is decorated by hand.

The same goes for my holiday collections. Whether it’s a Christmas Tree Cake candle, a pumpkin dessert candle for fall, a popcorn candle, a banana split sundae candle, or one of my bakery-inspired creations, each candle gets its own unique touches. Some have wax frosting, some have wax cookies, some have fruit toppings, and others have decorations that take hours to make. Every candle has its own personality.

No Limits to Creativity

One thing I love most about running Vanilla Bean Dreamz Candle Co. is that there are no limits to creativity. I’m always working on new designs, new scents, and new dessert candles that haven’t even been released yet. I probably have more ideas written down than I have time to make, and that’s what keeps this business so exciting.

Small Collections, Unique Releases

Most of my candles are released in small seasonal collections. When a season ends, those candles are usually retired until the following year. Sometimes I may bring back a customer favorite by special request, but for the most part, once they’re gone, they’re gone. This allows me to keep creating fresh designs and introducing new products throughout the year.

What makes my candles different isn’t just the wax or the fragrance. It’s the creativity, the details, and the fact that every candle is made by hand. No factory. No assembly line. No two candles exactly alike.
